​The Head & Neck Surgery team focuses on the treatment of malignant and complex disease of the head and neck. Over the years, the team has grown, with sub-specialised treatment domains, such as in the context of transoral robotic surgery, extirpation and reconstruction of head and neck cancers as well as minimally invasive thyroid therapies. Together with the NCIS' multidisciplinary head & neck service and allied health speech / swallowing therapy units, the NUH's head & neck team leads the management of malignancies of upper aerodigestive tract, thyroid and salivary glands in providing a holistic approach to optimise multi-specialty treatment for our patients.
