Common Investigative Procedures

These are the common investigative procedures performed by our doctors to further assess the patient's condition:

Nasoendoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure whereby a fine flexible scope is inserted into your nose to examine the nasal cavity, paranasal sinus openings and throat. A local anaesthetic spray may be used.

​Ear clearance is a procedure done to remove ear wax or debris from the ear canal. It is usually performed using microscopic visualisation and suction instruments.

Nasal clearance is done to clean the nasal cavity and pharynx, and is performed using a rigid endoscope and suction instruments. Similar to Nasoendoscopy, a local anaesthetic spray may be used.
