Maternity and Gynaecology Nursing Course (MGYN)
NUH MGYN is an ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) accredited programme in the management and care
of obstetrics and gynaecology areas for women. They help to monitor and manage the care of these group of women preparing for labour and child birth.
Gestational Diabetes Management (GDM) Clinic
The Clinic provides independent clinic consult specialising in Gestational Diabetes Management. Working with a collaborative team of doctors, nurse educators and dietitians to provide comprehensive management approach in the outpatient setting, our
Advanced Practice Nurse leading this clinic is fully credentialled and certified
to manage the above population.
Neonatal Services
NUH's Neonatal unit is one of the busiest units in Singapore. Neonatal nursing is challenging, exciting and fulfilling and we welcome nurses who are patient and compassionate and identified individuals will be trained for the special skillsets.
Advanced Nursing Skills
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Intravenous (IV) cannulation
- Neonatal Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) insertion
- Blood culture
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) / Neonatal High Dependency (NHD) provides care for babies with a variety of complex conditions. Our nurses provide a wide range of services such as:
- Extreme prematurity care and management
- Congenital heart disease care and management
- Care and management for babies with congenital malformation requiring surgical intervention
- Cooling therapy
