Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT)
Our Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT) service caters to children on prolonged courses of anti-microbials who are otherwise well. This allows your child to avoid a prolonged hospital stay, continue to live at home and attend school, while receiving intravenous antibiotics. Our dedicated specialty nurse will assist in wound care, intravenous line care, and is a point of contact and support for families of children with long term infections.
