Orthopaedics and Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery

The University Orthopaedics, Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery Cluster (UOHC) was formed in year 2008 with the combination of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Hand Reconstructive Microsurgery into one cluster, following the incorporation of the National University Health System (NUHS) by the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the Faculty of Dentistry and the National University Hospital.


UOHC provides quality tertiary clinical care in the various fields of Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery. These include Spinal Surgery, Hip & Knee, Foot & Ankle, Shoulder & Elbow, Musculoskeletal Trauma and Oncology, Paediatric Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine & Surgery as well as Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery.
