The Microsurgery Training Laboratory at the NUH was established in 2002 by the Department of Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery with the goal of making microsurgery an integral part of a surgeon's training in various specialities. Over the years, our laboratory has become a well-developed teaching facility in microsurgery. At Microsurgery Training Laboratory, the Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery Department conducts the microsurgery training programme, which provides structured courses that leads to the acquisition of clinically applicable microsurgical skills. All our training courses are approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) of the National University of Singapore (NUS).
