Health Resources

When to visit UCC

To assist you in determining the best care option when your child is unwell, we have created a series of infographics. Depending on the condition, you may choose the General Practitioner (GP), Children's Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) or Children's Emergency (CE).

For non-urgent symptoms such as cough, runny nose and fever in children older than 3 months, consult with a PaedsENGAGE GP who can provide initial assessment and management.

Find out more about PaedsENGAGE.

Children’s Emergency (CE)

Visit CE for critical or life-threatening conditions.

This will allow our team at UCC to focus on patients with minor injuries and conditions that are urgent but not life-threatening.
