    1. Public Sector Transformation Awards 2025

      • Exemplary Innovation Award: Professor Paul Chew, Senior Consultant, Department of Ophthalmology

        Prof Chew pioneered the Paul Glaucoma Implant—a groundbreaking treatment for glaucoma now recognised and used in 50 countries. His innovation provides long-term intraocular pressure control, significantly improving patient outcomes and quality of life, whilst reducing healthcare costs.
      • Exemplary Service Excellence Award: Adjunct Assistant Professor Andrew Hong, Head & Consultant, Division of Foot & Ankle Surgery, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery

        Adj Asst Prof Hong has markedly improved patient care by introducing innovative clinical pathways and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration. His dedication to patient-centric care and evidence-based solutions has transformed outcomes in hip fractures, diabetic limb salvage, and foot and ankle injuries.
      • Exemplary Leader Award: Mr Jeremy Lee, Chief Operating Officer

        Jeremy has transformed NUH operations through innovative solutions like Robotic Process Automation, enhancing efficiency and productivity across departments. As Chair of the NUH Sustainability Workgroup, he has also spearheaded over 250 green initiatives, setting new benchmarks in healthcare sustainability.
