The National University Spine Institute (NUSI) provides surgical and non-surgical treatment of all types of spinal pathologies. These include:
Degenerative lumbar spinal disorders, such as spinal stenosis, prolapsed disc, degenerate disc and spinal instability
Complex cervical spine pathology, such as cervical myelopathy, radiculopathy and ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL)
Spine fracture and spinal cord injury
Spinal infections
Primary and secondary tumours of the spine
Complex spinal deformity with scoliosis deformities in children and adult

All patients treated by NUSI receive a comprehensive integrated and multidisciplinary plan of care. The range of spine procedures performed in NUSI include:
Minimally invasive spinal surgery, such as microscopy assisted, tubular and endoscopy
Computer navigation for spine surgery
Robotic spine surgery
Artificial disc replacements
Lumbar spinal fusion surgery
Cervical spinal surgery
Complex spinal deformity correction in children and adults
Spinal tumour surgery
Vertebral augmentation using vertebroplasty / kyphoplasty

1. Paediatric Spine and Scoliosis Surgery – including deformity correction and growing spine non-fusion technologies for children, such as growing rod insertion, Magec, Scoli-tether and Apifix spine procedures
