The Hospital Clinician (HC) scheme, recognised by MOH, offers a new career track for non-specialists interested in Medical (Acute and Sub-Acute Care) or Peri-Operative (Surgical and Anaesthesia) domains. Medical officers employed by MOHH can apply for the HC Scheme at PGY4, undergoing a one-year HC assessment period before transferring to NUH as full hospital clinicians at PGY5.
