Care at NUH

Centre for Obesity Management and Surgery (COMS)

The Centre for Obesity Management and Surgery (COMS) prides itself on providing comprehensive care for patients under its supervision.

Our multidisciplinary team of dietitians, physiotherapists, psychologists, endocrinologists, hepatologists and surgeons, manages both adult and adolescent bariatric conditions. Our patients display a diverse spectrum of obesity, often complicated by obstructive sleep apnoea, joint pains or metabolic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, subfertility and fatty liver disease.

We help our patients achieve the health benefits of weight loss while ensuring they look and feel better during and after treatment. We build a long-term relationship with our patients to maintain sustainable results post-treatment and continuity of care.

In addition to medication and lifestyle adjustments, our team of surgeons are highly skilled in minimally invasive interventions, offering a range of bariatric treatment options (both endoscopic and surgical) tailored to each patient's needs.
