The NUH Microsurgery Training Laboratory was established in 2002 by the Department of Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery, with the goal of making microsurgery an integral part of a surgeon's training in various specialities.
Over the years, our laboratory has evolved into a well-established teaching facility for microsurgery. In this dedicated space, the Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery Department conducts the microsurgery training programme, offering structured courses that lead to the acquisition of clinically applicable microsurgical skills. All our training courses are approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) of the National University of Singapore.
