Dr Chua came to Singapore in 2009 after completing his internship in South Australia. Dr. Chua worked in various hospitals all over Singapore before completing his NUHS Orthopaedic Specialist training in 2017.
Two years later he was awarded the prestigious MOH HMDP award to pursue fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery. It was a valuable experience received from four mentors in the Oxford University Hospital NHS, UK.
Prior to his current career appointment, Dr Zackary Chua worked at the KK Women’s And Children’s Hospital. Several of his notable achievements there include helping spearhead the setup of Sg clubfoot babies group on Facebook, setup of a multi-disciplinary clinic for ingrown toenails, etc.
Dr Chua believes in two work philosophies that are aligned to both his sub-specialty interests.
1) Children are not little adults.
2) When one’s feet hurts, one hurts all over - Socrates.
