Biosketch

Dr Su Xinyi is a clinician-scientist. She graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2009 with an MBChir degree in Medicine and a PhD degree in Molecular Biology. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology, National University of Singapore (NUS), and a Senior Consultant Vitreo-retinal Surgeon at National University Hospital (NUH). Dr Su's research interests are in developing biomaterials and translational stem cell therapeutics for retinal diseases. She holds a joint position at A*STAR as the Acting Executive Director at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB).
