Dr Lee completed a one-year fellowship in Hepatology at the University of Miami with a special interest in Liver Transplantation from 2001-2002. Since then, Dr Lee has been practicing as a Senior Consultant at the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the National University Hospital.

Her special interests are in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and Liver Transplantation. Dr Lee has two research grants in the area of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and is currently providing expertise in this area, as well as in general Hepatology including Viral Hepatitis B and C and general Gastroenterology.

Awards and Honours

PI of NMRC grant for study "A Randomized Controlled Trial of Lactulose versus a combination of Lactulose and Metronidazole in the treatment of Hepatic Encephalopathy in cirrhotic patients" awarded in November 2002.
PI of NHG small innovative grant for study "A pilot study on the effects of life style modification and Pentoxifylline in patients with non alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH)" awarded in July 2004.
Co-investigator in many other studies in the department of Gastroenterology /Hepatology, NUH.
