Dr. Gavin O’Neill graduated from University of Dundee, UK in 2002. His specialist Orthopaedic training was in Glasgow, obtaining his FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedic) in 2010. He was Fellowship trained in Trauma and Lower Limb Reconstruction at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia.
Dr O’Neill specialises in all aspects of musculoskeletal trauma with a particular interest in complex peri-articular trauma, peri-prosthetic fractures and pelvic and acetabular trauma. He is an experienced primary and revision Hip and Knee replacement surgeon. He has significant experience in computer assisted surgery, sports surgery and hip arthroscopy.
He is committed to the ongoing education of pre and postgraduate students at NUHS. He is the Programme Director and a Core Faculty of the NUHS Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Programme.
