Biosketch

Dr Bernice works as a Consultant in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, NUH. Her major interest is in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Dr Bernice obtained her basic medical degree (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2015. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency training at NUH from 2015 to 2018. Dr Bernice obtained Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of United Kingdom (MRCP) (UK) and Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2018. She then continued at NUH for her Senior Residency training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from 2018 to 2021.  Dr Bernice was accredited as a Gastroenterology and Hepatology specialist in 2021 by the Specialty Accreditation Board (SAB) in Singapore. Her clinical and research interests are Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and General Gastroenterology/Hepatology. She is also actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
