Dr Kanneganti Abhiram graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2012. He was admitted as a member to Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2014 and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2022. He underwent his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the National University Hospital (NUH) and obtained a Master of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from NUS in 2022. Dr Kanneganti's practice encompasses all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology. He strongly believes in individualised treatment for his patients and strives to personalise the care that he provides. He is competent in minimally invasive surgery and has special interests in the management of precancerous conditions in women and cervical cancer prevention. He has been involved in research in various aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology and has been recognised with the NUHS Residency Research Award. As a strong proponent for education, he is a core faculty member of the NUH Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency Programme and is the current Site Director for the Family Medicine Residency training at this department. He has been recognised with several teaching awards and the Healthcare Education Research Award in 2021. He has deep interests in simulation training to improve the safety and competency of care for pregnant women.
