Febrile seizure is the most common seizure disorder in childhood. It typically occurs in children aged 6 months to 5 years old, and is associated with fevers of more than 38 degrees celsius. While the condition is usually not life-threatening and does not have lasting consequences, it can be very distressing for parents when their children have febrile seizures. Besides learning more about the condition, this talk will also cover first aid techniques for seizures.SpeakerSSN Quek Zhi Lei Kimberly (郭芷蕾)Paediatric Epilepsy Nurse Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children's Medical InstituteRegistrationRegistration is required.
