Biosketch

Adj Asst/Prof Jonathan Jacob is a Consultant at Alexandra Hospital (AH) and National University Hospital (NUH). He graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2015 and completed his specialty training in Advanced Internal Medicine (AIM) in 2020.

He has an interest in Medical Education, and is the Head of the Junior Doctor Management Committee at Alexandra Hospital. He is also a Core Faculty member of the NUHS AIM Senior Residency programme, the Associate Programme Director of the AH Hospital Clinician Programme (Medicine), and the Phase II Clinical Examination (MSE) Lead at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Adj Asst/Prof Jacob is also the Training & Education lead of the pioneering NUHS@Home programme, one of the few Hospital at Home programmes in Singapore. Established in 2020, the programme provides patients with hospital-level care from the comfort of their own homes, and helped to care for more than 1500 patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
