Dr Chua graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He completed his post-graduate training in Respiratory Medicine in Singapore and has been an accredited specialist since 2018. He is well-versed in ultrasound skills and is competent in the use of bronchoscopy in the diagnosis and management of lung diseases.
Apart from his clinical commitments, Dr Chua is actively engaged in medical education. He is currently the Undergraduate Medical Education Director for the Division of Respiratory and Critical Medicine in NUH. He is also a recipient of various teaching awards.
