This workshop aims to introduce participants to Vestibular Rehabilitation - an effective and evidence-based approach for assessing and treating individuals with vertigo, dizziness and imbalance resulting from vestibular disorders such as vestibular neuritis, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and other common vestibular differential diagnosis. 

Dizziness is a common complaint for many patients. In settings without ease of access to ENT doctors' assessment, it is essential for physiotherapists to be equipped with necessary knowledge and skills to make a preliminary diagnosis. Having the skills to differentiate central and peripheral related dizziness will help physiotherapists to provide effective treatment. This knowledge will also facilitate timely referrals to appropriate practitioners.

Course structure/programme:

• Interactive workshop with lectures and practical hands-on session.
• Fostering understanding through case studies discussion.
• Written and Practical Competency Exam at end of course. Certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants and certificate of competency will be issued upon passing both examinations.
• Complimentary Virtual session (3 months post-workshop) to support questions and sharing of experiences.
