Dr Teoh graduated with Doctor of Medicine (MD) from National University of Malaysia in 2012. She then joined the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Psychiatry Residency Programme in 2020 where she gained experiences through rotations at various institutions including Institute of Mental Health, National University Hospital, Changi General Hospital and KK Women's and Children's Hospital. She was conferred a Membership in the Royal Colleage of Psychiatrists from the United Kingdom in 2021 and obtained her specialist accreditation in 2025. She has a special interest in women perinatal mental health and psycho-oncology. Beyond her clinical work, Dr Teoh also actively involves in teaching and supervision for undergraduate students and postgraduate psychiatry residents.
