Dr Lim Zhixue is a specialist in hand surgery in the Department of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of hand surgery conditions, with interests in trauma and reconstruction, as well as wrist and hand disorders.
He graduated with MBChB (Honours) from the University of Glasgow, where he also completed a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences with a focus on research.
Dr Lim is actively involved in academic research and was awarded a research grant in 2020 to support his work. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications covering topics such as oncology, reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, and health policy. He has presented at numerous international and local hand surgery conferences and continues to contribute to the advancement of surgical knowledge and education.
