Biosketch

Dr Lee Wei Ting is a Senior Consultant in the Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH).

Dr Lee graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He subsequently completed specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery and, in 2014, was awarded the College of Surgeons’ Gold Medal in Orthopaedic Surgery in recognition of his outstanding performance during specialist training.

In 2015, Dr Lee completed a one-year Foot and Ankle Fellowship in the United States under the mentorship of Dr Mark Myerson at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction. During his fellowship, he received advanced training in the management of complex foot and ankle deformities, sports injuries, and trauma, and gained valuable experience caring for elite athletes.

Dr Lee’s clinical practice focuses on the comprehensive management of foot and ankle disorders, with particular expertise in foot and ankle deformity correction, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions of the foot and ankle. He is committed to helping patients regain mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function through personalised and patient-centred treatment plans. Drawing on a broad spectrum of both non-operative and surgical treatment options, he tailors treatment plans to each individual’s needs and goals, aiming to achieve the best possible functional outcomes and enable patients to return to the activities that matter most to them.

Before joining Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Dr Lee served in the Singapore Armed Forces, where he held several senior medical leadership appointments, including Chief Army Medical Officer and Chief of Medical Corps. His distinguished military career reflects a longstanding commitment to clinical excellence, service, and healthcare leadership.

Dr Lee is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
