Biosketch

Dr Koh Chee Teck is an Associate Consultant in the Division of Genetics and Metabolism at the Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children’s Medical Institute, National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore. He is actively involved in the clinical care of children with genetic and metabolic conditions. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he contributes extensively to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.

Dr Koh completed his undergraduate medical training at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, graduating with distinction and receiving the Royal Education Award. He subsequently underwent Paediatric Residency training at the National University Health System (NUHS), Singapore, where he obtained the Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) from the National University of Singapore and Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), United Kingdom. He was awarded the NUHS Residency Valedictorian Award in 2025 in recognition of his outstanding performance.

He has received multiple awards for excellence in teaching, including the Annual Teaching Excellence Award (Interactive Category) and Best Teaching Senior Resident. His strong commitment to medical education is reflected in his ongoing involvement in curriculum development, interprofessional education, and clinical training.

Dr Koh’s research interests lie in paediatric genetics. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and contributed to book chapters in Renal-On-The-Go (Paediatrics). His work has been presented at major regional and international conferences, where he has received accolades including the Silver Young Investigator Award and Best Oral Presentation.

Dr Koh is committed to advancing precision medicine and improving diagnostic pathways for children with genetic diseases. His work bridges clinical practice, research, and education, with the aim of enhancing outcomes for patients with rare and complex conditions.
