Biosketch
Dr Grace Ming Fen Chan is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the National University Hospital, Singapore. She obtained her medical degree from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and subsequently completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and holds a Master of Medicine as well as a Master of Public Health with Excellence.
Dr Chan provides comprehensive care in general obstetrics and gynaecology, and is currently training in the division of gynaeologic oncology. Her clinical interests include gynaecological cancers, cervical cancer screening and colposcopy, as well as minimally invasive surgery. She is an accredited colposcopist with the Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology Singapore.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Chan remains actively involved in teaching and research. She has contributed to peer‑reviewed publications and presentations at regional and international scientific meetings, with research interests spanning cervical cancer screening, medical education, and clinical outcomes in obstetrics and gynaecology.
During her residency, she served as Chief Resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and participated in structured leadership and research training programmes, including the Singapore Chief Residency Programme and the NUH Research Residency track.
Dr Chan is a member of several professional organisations, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore, and the Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology Singapore.
She is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care and to contributing to the ongoing improvement of women’s health services. Outside of work, she enjoys running and cooking for friends.
