Biosketch

Dr Yeong obtained his MBBS degree from the NUS in 1982 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (London) in 1989. He was consultant and section chief of interventional radiology at the SGH before taking up the post of senior consultant and Head of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the National Cancer Centre in 2000. He then left for private practice for more then a decade whereby he was a senior and managing partner of diagnostic radiology at Raffles Hospital. He rejoined the public sector (NUH) as senior consultant in diagnostic and interventional radiology in 2012. As a clinician educator, he is as assistant professor with the YLL SoM and is also an appointed National Examiner for the American Board of Medical Specialities - Singapore (Diagnostic Radiology).
