Biosketch

Dr Wang Kangjie is an Associate Consultant in the Division of Endocrinology at NUH Singapore. He graduated with his MBBS degree from National University of Singapore in 2014. He was conferred his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and attained his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2018. He received his training in Endocrinology at National University Hospital, Singapore, and attained his Specialist Accreditation in 2022.

Dr Wang is appointed Clinical Advisor to Inpatient Group Applications for Epic at the Group Medical Informatics Office (GMIO), where he advises and supports the respective Inpatient Application team leads; and mediates between GMIO, end-users and senior leadership. He has a special interest in Medical Informatics and manages Informatics training and upgrading Divisional and Departmental technological needs.

Apart from his clinical interest, Dr Wang is an avid educator involved in both undergraduate student and postgraduate resident teachings. He is currently a core faculty member of the NUHS Endocrinology Senior Residency Programme and National PGY1 Programme (Medicine) and designated Clinical Teacher for Year 3 (Medicine) for Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He has been awarded "Great Teacher Award" from the Department of Medicine for undergraduate teaching from 2021-2023.
