Dr Shih E’ Ching is a Consultant with the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery in NUH. She is trained in all aspects of general ear, nose, and throat conditions. Her special interest is in paediatric otolaryngology.
After obtaining her medical degree from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2011, Dr Shih attained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons, MRCS (Edinburgh) in 2014 and completed her postgraduate ACGME-I accredited ENT training with the National University Hospital Residency Program in 2018. She was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship in 2022 and completed the ACGME-accredited fellowship from 2024 to 2025 in Paediatric Otolaryngology at Mass Eye and Ear, Mass General Brigham Hospital, the primary teaching hospital affiliate of Harvard Medical School, United States of America.
Besides caring for patients, Dr Shih also enjoys teaching undergraduate and post-graduate students as an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
