Adj Asst Professor Hasan obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He subsequently earned a Master of Medicine and a Master of Clinical Investigation from the National University of Singapore, and was awarded the NMRC-NRF Scholarship (2012 to 2014).
Dr Hasan completed his Orthopaedic Residency training at the National University Health System in Singapore and obtained his FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) in 2021. This was followed by subspecialty training in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He further advanced his expertise through international fellowships, including the AO Trauma Fellowship in Cape Town, South Africa, and Complex Foot and Ankle Deformity Fellowship at King’s College Hospital in London, United Kingdom.
Adj Asst Professor Hasan is an active member of regional and international orthopaedic professional societies, and regularly contributes to teaching and academic activities. He is also actively involved in clinical research, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributions to book chapters. In addition, he is a committed medical educator, holding teaching appointments at both the National University of Singapore and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Singapore.
