Dr Lim Mei Chin is a Senior Consultant Radiologist at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, National University Hospital where she heads the Division of Body Imaging. She graduated with a medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2010 and subsequently completed her specialist training in diagnostic radiology, earning the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK) and Master of Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology, Singapore) in 2014.
Dr Lim has a subspecialty focus in hepatobiliary imaging and underwent advanced clinical training at Asan Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea, supported by the Singapore Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Award. Her areas of clinical and research interest include imaging of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.
An active medical educator, Dr Lim is Core Faculty in the NUHS Diagnostic Radiology Residency Programme and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is regularly involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and serves as an examiner for professional examinations. Dr Lim has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, with contributions in oncologic and abdominal imaging.
