Dr Christopher Chua is a Consultant with the Division of Neurology at the National University Hospital. He provides care for adult general neurology, with a special interest and expertise in epilepsy, particularly drug-resistant epilepsy and long-term video-EEG monitoring.
Dr Chua graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, in 2013. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2016 and completed Neurology Senior Residency at the National University Health System, successfully passing both the MRCP (UK) Neurology Specialty Certificate Examination and the local Neurology Exit Examination, leading to specialist accreditation in 2021.
He was awarded the Learning Development Award, which supported his one-year fellowship at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), University College London Hospitals (UCLH). During this fellowship, he trained with international experts in drug-resistant epilepsy, advanced video-EEG telemetry, and epilepsy surgery evaluation.
Dr Chua has a strong interest in medical education, clinical training, and the development of neurology services.
