Adjunct Associate Professor Ng Jun Jie is a Consultant in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS), with concurrent appointments at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Alexandra Hospital. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. A/Prof Ng graduated from NUS Medicine in 2010 and completed his general surgery residency at NUH, obtaining his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2018 — achieving the distinction of highest scorer in his fellowship examinations. He subsequently completed a dedicated complex aortic fellowship at the prestigious Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London, UK, where he mastered the full spectrum of complex endovascular and open surgical management of aortic aneurysms, including fenestrated and branched endovascular repair.

A/Prof Ng's principal clinical interests encompass Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and Chronic Limb-Threatening Ischaemia (CLTI), complex aortic aneurysms, and dialysis access surgery. He is widely recognised as a key opinion leader in the region for the endovascular management of PAD and CLTI and has been invited to speak at numerous international conferences globally on endovascular therapy for these conditions. He is an Executive Committee (EXCO) member of the Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of Singapore (SVESS), served as Organising Chair of the PAD Track for the Asian Society for Vascular Surgery (ASVS) 2025, and is Organising Chair for the Complex Interventional Endovascular Therapy (CIET) conference in 2026.

Beyond his clinical work, A/Prof Ng is an active researcher with more than 80 peer-reviewed publications in leading vascular and surgical journals. He has served as principal and co-investigator across numerous clinical trials, with research interests spanning endovascular innovation, dialysis access outcomes, and limb salvage in patients with critical ischaemia. He holds a Master of Clinical Investigation from NUS and continues to pursue further research in these areas.

Medical education is a cornerstone of A/Prof Ng's academic identity. An avid and dedicated educator, he has received multiple teaching awards including the Junior Doctor Teaching Award and Special Recognition Award, and currently serves as the Overall Convenor of the MBBS Examinations for NUS Medicine — a role reflecting the highest institutional trust in upholding the standards of undergraduate medical education in Singapore.
