This workshop provides comprehensive training in minimally invasive laparoscopic upper tract surgery,
open kidney transplant procedures, as well as laparoscopic and robotic simulation techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in surgery using live porcine models and practise with laparoscopic simulation models.
Objectives:

Gain an understanding of the human system involved in high-stakes, high-tension surgical situations

Learn the techniques for conducting laparoscopic and robotic minimally invasive surgery
•
Acquire skills in managing complications during laparoscopic and robotic procedures
•
Trial new advanced operative devices and robotic platforms
•
Practise kidney transplant vascular anastomosis
