A/Prof Wong obtained his basic medical degree from University of Singapore in 1974, and underwent training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology between 1975 and 1978. He obtained his MMed (O&G) and MRCOG in 1978/79. He received his sub-specialty training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine & Ultrasonography in UK & US Centers, under the China Medical Board Fellowship scheme in 1983 and 1984.

He is currently practising as a Senior Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in NUH, supervising the technical clinical issues of the Fetal Care Centre. His special interest is in the areas of Antenatal Diagnosis, Ultrasonography in O&G, and menopausal management.
