Biosketch

Dr Tian Cheong Sing graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1980. He worked as a family physician before embarking on specialist training in psychiatry in 1998. He graduated with a Master of Medicine (Psychiatry) in 1990 and went on to subspecialty training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry with the London Institute of Child Health. He also went on to attain a postgraduate diploma in Family & Marital therapy from the London Institute of Family Therapy.

Dr Tian was in private psychiatric practice for 16 years before joining the National University Hospital in Sep 2016 as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist. He is currently also a Member of Academic Committee at the NUS Mind Science Centre. His special interests include helping children and adolescents with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and learning problems, and those with family dysfunctions. He also has a keen interest in marital and relationship therapy.

Apart from his interest in clinical service, he is passionate about helping youths in community build up their mental resilience through emotional mastery and social intelligence programs.
