Biosketch

Dr Ong Say Yang completed his anaesthesia training in 2014 and underwent a one-year fellowship in chronic pain management in Adelaide in 2018. His clinical interests are in pain management, regional and obstetric anaesthesia.

He divides his clinical time between the National University Hospital and Alexandra Hospital. He is the current pain service lead for Alexandra Hospital and advocates for inter-disciplinary pain management.

Dr Ong also contributes actively in medical education at both the undergraduate level at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS), and at the postgraduate level as a core faculty of the NUHS Anaesthesiology Residency Programme.
