Biosketch

Dr. Oon joined the Division of Infectious Diseases in 2010 where she exited from the Advanced Specialist Training in 2013. Her interests lie in general infectious diseases, travel and tropical medicine. She currently serves as Clinical Director for the outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy (OPAT) and dengue outpatient management (DOM) clinic. She also help set up and run the NUH Travellers’ Health and Vaccination clinic.  

Dr Oon is passionate about medical education and serves in various educational leadership roles. She is active in teaching learners in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and has been serving as the Programme Director for the Infectious Diseases Senior Residency Programme since 2017. She completed the Master in Healthcare Professional Education (MHPE) with Maastricht University in 2021.
