Biosketch

Dr Ivy Ang graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2011. She obtained her Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) in 2015 and completed residency training in 2018, whereby she achieved Specialist Accreditation in Paediatric Medicine.

During her residency years, she was appointed Assistant Chief Resident and Assistant Chief Registrar, helping out with teaching and rostering administrative duties. She was also selected for the distinguished NUH Residency Leadership Development Programme. 

Dr Ang enjoys teaching junior colleagues, medical students and allied healthcare workers. She was awarded the best registrar teacher award for 3 consecutive years from 2016 to 2018. 

In the area of Paediatric Emergency, Dr Ang has a special interest in difficult airway, trauma management as well as toxicology. Outside of work, she enjoys long distance running and a good cup of tea.
