Biosketch

Dr Hazel Anne Lin graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2010. She obtained her Masters of Medicine in Ophthalmology and completed her specialist training in Ophthalmology in 2017. She has also attained several awards such as the Margaret Lee Ming Yee Memorial Medal and Albert Lim Liat Juay Silver Medal in 2010, and Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) Gold Medal in 2015.

Dr Lin served as the Chief Resident of the department between 2015 and 2016, and graduated from the Singapore Chief Residency Programme in 2017. She holds an appointment as Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. As a member of the Residency Core Faculty, she is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate training.

Dr Lin is the current Clinical Director and has been involved in several quality improvement projects within the department, notably, the establishment of the Cataract Suite and implementation of Teleconsultation for patients receiving cataract surgery. Her clinical interests are in Neuro-ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery.
