Dr Charmaine Sia did her undergraduate medical training at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine where she subsequently graduated with MBBS in 2015. Dr Sia underwent her internal medical junior residency at the Department of Medicine in National Univeristy Hospital where she received by Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2017. She subsequenly completed her nephrology senior residency at the Division of Nephrology in National University Hospital and acheived Specialist Accreditation for Nephrology in 2021.
During her residency, Dr Sia served as a Chief Resident from 2018-2020.
Dr Sia's clinical interestes are in interventional nephrology. She is also interested about medical education. She enrolled in the medical education track in 2018 during her senior residency and is now serving as a NUH Phase III posting co-director for undergraduates.
