Synopsis

The prevalence of obesity is on a rising trend in Singapore. It is associated with multiple chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Lifestyle modifications which include increasing physical activity to aid weight control have been shown to reduce obesity rates and its associated diseases. Physical activity can be done anytime and anywhere, and it does not always require equipment or a gym. Learn more about how to incorporate physical activity in your daily routine for a lighter and healthier you.
