Wellness Centre

Early detection of diseases through regular health screening can make a major impact on the effectiveness and cost of treatment later on. As such, regular medical check-up is an important element of healthy living.

The NUH Wellness Centre is a one-stop health screening centre that caters to all your health screening needs. Our dedicated team of medical professionals will help you better understand your health condition and risks, if any. We will also work closely with you to modify your lifestyle when necessary. Through result analysis and health education, we aim to provide you with relevant knowledge to add many healthy years to your life!

At our Wellness Centre, we offer health screening that enable early detection of common chronic illnesses such as heart disease, stroke, hypertension and diabetes.


Health Screening


Health Screening helps to discover if a person is suffering from a particular disease, even if he or she does not have any symptoms. If a disease is discovered early through screening, the person can receive treatment early and avoid complications, suffering or even death.

The Health Screening will include the following:

Comprehensive Medical History & Physical Examination
- Present complaints (if any)
- Full history taking including past medical, family, social & drug history
- Review of entire body system

Biometrics Parameters
- Blood Pressure
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Height & Weight
- Visual Acuity

Medical Review & Counselling
- Discussion and interpretation of physical findings and laboratory results
- Recommendations and health education by our Doctor
- Medical follow-up and direct referrals to other specialists' services within NUH (if necessary)


Basic Health Screening 


 As recommnded by Health Promotion Board, below is a list of general assessment tests for adults:

Hyperlipidaemia (High blood cholesterol)

Fasting lipids

Individuals aged 50 yrs and above

Colorectal cancer

Faecal immunochemical test (to test for blood in stools)


Once a year


Once every ten years

Additional Tests for Women 

Women aged 25-69 yrs, who have had sexual intercourse

Cervical cancer

Pap smear

Once every three years

Women aged 50-69 yrs

Breast cancer


Once every two years.


If you have any other health concerns or existing medical conditions, please contact us directly for more information.  Our doctor will base on your individual risk factors (e.g. self or family history of hereditary or chronic diseases, exposure to factors that can lead to disease) to recommend additional tests.



Prices are subject to prevailing GST. Payment can be made by cash, NETS or credit card. Medisave claim is not applicable for health screening tests.

Fridays: 8.00am to 5.00pm
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays)


You may like to engage an interpreter to assist you during your clinic visit, if you have difficulty speaking or understanding English or Mandarin. If you would like us to engage an external interpreter on your behalf, please let us know at least 3 working days in advance. The interpreter’s fee applies and you will be required to pay directly to the service provider.
