Clinic D serves both in and outpatients. It provides clinical services for adults, aged 16 and above and caters to both subsided and non-subsided patients. The sub-specialties available in Clinic D are :

  • Podiatry
  • Diabetic and Respiratory Nurse Counseling
  • Pain Management Clinic


Scope of Care

  • Referrals are mainly from polyclinics, general practitioners, inpatient discharges, inter-department, inter-hospitals and nursing home.
  • Pre-consultation assessments are done for patients for weight and height. For Diabetic patients, the Nurse Educators will review the patient's diet pattern, blood and urine monitoring before consultation with the appropriate clinician.


Meeting Patients' Needs

  • Specialist clinicians provide the medical services while registered nurses and ancillary staff provide the nursing care, support, education and follow-up.
  • Diabetes Nurse Educators will follow-up closely with patients via telephone calls to provide counseling and education for better stabilisation of patient's condition in between consultation.
  • Financial counselling is provided to all patients who are listed for operation or required to undergo certain procedures.
  • Patients with specific conditions such as TB are also followed-up to ensure that they do not miss their appointments. The medical team will review results of all investigation/test, and recall of patients with abnormal results may be necessary depending on individual case.
  • The Pain Management Clinic at Clinic D provides pharmacological, interventional and psychological management for patients with chronic pain and difficult pain syndromes.

Saturdays : 8.30am to 12 noon (centralised service for venepuncture - by appointment only)
Sundays and Public Holidays Closed
(Note: Pain Management Clinic outpatients are seen by appointment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
