Appointment and Enquiry
We aim to improve outcomes in our patients with pneumonia by accurate diagnosis and classification of severity at the emergency department (ED) following well established practice guidelines. This programme enables low risk patients to be managed safely and more conveniently at home with oral antibiotics while sicker patients receive rapid institution of key life saving treatment steps to reduce mortality, complications and speed up recovery.
