Our future impetus in the field of transplantation is to develop and refine the techniques of right lobe liver transplantation.


Right lobe liver transplantation is fraught with its own unique technical complexities and is offered by very few select centres around the world. Although we have already made a start, there is scope for refinement of techniques and development of a well trained team of surgeons who can perform this complex operation on a regular basis.


Experimental and clinical research - It is our endeavour to conduct studies that can contribute directly to improve patient care or answer specific targeted research questions that may have future impact on clinical outcomes.
