Psychiatry

We provide outpatient diagnostic and consultation services for children and adolescents who are under stress, and experiencing emotional and behavioural distress. The child or adolescent who is being referred will be seen by a psychiatrist for a diagnostic interview. As the child/adolescent is an important member of the family, the involvement of the family in the management of the problem is strongly encouraged. To provide a comprehensive evaluation, a multidisciplinary approach is adopted in that we work closely with our colleagues from other departments.
