Our pharmacists ensure that the prescribed medicines are safe, appropriate and prepared in a timely manner for you. He/she will educate and counsel you on the side effects, precautions to observe and the proper use of medicines. He/she will also advise you on how to self medicate and will be pleased to answer any questions you may have about your medicines or health supplements. We strive to provide you with the best possible advice in terms of the variety of drugs and possible generic substitutions.
To help patients and members of the public know more about the medicines they are/will be taking, NUH pharmacy is pleased to make available a set of Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) for their easy reference. To help patients save time and reduce the hassle of queuing at our pharmacies, we offer several patient-friendly services to help patients beat their 'queue' blues.
'Snack As You Wait' Service - Grab a bite at our Kopitiam where you can look out for your Pharmacy queue number on the Queue Display System.
Express Queue - dedicated Express Queue at our Retail Pharmacy 1 for patients who require three or less prescribed medicines.
Pharmacy at Specialist Outpatient Clinics A, B and C - patients can enjoy the convenience of collecting their medicines from our Pharmacy housed within our clinics.
SMS (Short-Message-System) Notification Service - patients can request to be notified via SMS when their medicines are ready for collection at Retail Pharmacy 1.
Medicine Delivery Service - patients can have their medications delivered to their home or office at a preferred date and time. To find out how you can enjoy this service, you can download a copy of our leaflet here.
'Fax Your Prescription' Service - Fax your prescription in advance to (65) 6776 2695 and present your original prescription at Counter 1 at Retail Pharmacy 1 on the day of collection.
