As NUH emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach to tertiary care, our treatment programmes are organised around a particular illness and therapeutic regime. We have developed a number of specialty centres and services which offer our patients one-stop, patient-centred services for their specific medical conditions.

At NUH, we have numerous Specialist Outpatient Clinics and Specialised Service Centres to meet the growing needs of patients. A Specialist Dental Centre and 3 Dentistry clinics providing dental consultation and treatment are also available. We also operate 3 satellite outpatient clinics in the various locations in Singapore.

Specialist Outpatient Clinics & Specialised Service Centres
The Specialist Outpatient Clinics and Specialised Service Centres at NUH provide outpatient services for patients requiring specialist care. Consultations at the clinics and centres are strictly by appointments. Before you visit our clinics or centres, it is preferable that you obtain a referral from your general practitioner, primary health physician or ward doctor, as this will determine if you require follow-up by a specialist.

How To Make An Appointment
To make an appointment for consultation at our Specialist Outpatient Clinic or Specialised Service Centre, please call our Appointment Services at (65) 6772 5730.

When your appointment has been scheduled, we will make all arrangements to receive you on the date and time of your appointment. Should you need to change your appointment, please feel free to call our Appointment Services’ line. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

Alternatively, you can also use our Online Appointment service to make, change or cancel your appointment with NUH.

Operating Hours of Specialist Clinics & Centres
The opening hours of the clinics and centres are as follows:
Mondays to Fridays : 8:30am to 5:30pm
Saturdays : 8:30am to 12:30pm
The clinics and centres are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

What to bring on the day of your appointment
Please bring along the following original documents :

• NRIC or Birth Certificate (if your are under 15 years old) or passport (if you are a foreigner);
• Referral letter if you are referred by a doctor;
• Medical Benefits Identification Documents, e.g. Civil Service Card, Medical Benefit Identification Memo or Blood Donor Card.
• Valid work permit or employment pass and letter from your employer if you are a foreigner working in Singapore.

During the first visit, you will be issued an Appointment Card that indicates your name, hospital registration number and details about your next visit. Please bring along your Appointment Card with you each time you visit the clinic. It will help speed up the registration process and waiting time.
